If anyone is thinking about vinyl wrap or putting a matte finish on their car, I just heard about a finish that seems pretty easy, Plasti-Dip. I don't know how to post a link, but you can find it on you-tube.

I read about it and it's so cheap compared to xpel or 3M film that I don't really trust it. I'd like to see a complete car with me own eyes first

How do you take it off?

You peel it off. I wouldn't spray a car, but it's great for emblems and wheels. Good as temporary protection too, as when tracking or driving behind Ed Sims. You can see how well it works even on intricate lettering. These emblems are chrome.

I have blacked out my rims and added a gulf ish stripe.

Plasti-dip is great, no commitment, easy to remove and change.

Here is an earlier thread on the same product, or a similar one.

Not a replacement for a paint job.
Just something temporary and fun...

^^^ That is cool. Rattle cans or can you get it in bulk and use a sprayer?
