Pics of the gals!

Well, the weather has finally cooperated.....the timing was perfect : spare time, cloudless skies , no wind ! Thought I'd throw out some pics of some of the gals. Seems like a lot of the forum members share similar tastes in cars. Anyone out there with this combo as well ?:biggrin

Where the heck is the '67 SS/RS Camaro!!!

Nice black GT you got there....

I saw this thread and was expecting to see some nice models around GTs.
Can we please STOP referring to these cars as "gals" - somethings just aren't right. Besides it doesn't sound very convincing when you tell an F driver that my gal just kicked your butt. :ack

If you want to use the term reserve it for your Japanese truck - now that fits.

I'll get on that !

Ha ha... sorry to disappoint you !

camaro shots for "pockets"

All's forgiven once the pics are posted!

So here's some shots of the Camaro...I purchased it from the original elderly owner in '78. It is #'s matching with minimal mods:thumbsup (except the wheels). I first spotted it in '71 at the age of 14 and asked the owner to keep in touch as someday I'd appreciate the opportunity to purchase it ....I was too lazy to take new pic's for you so I've included some inventory shots of it in it's home ( the working garage....note there are TWO beer fridges:cheers)..Also there are two shots of the gt ; one when Shelby delivered it to the house in AZ in Jan '11: :thumbsup
and another a few months later as it was unloaded at it's permanent home in Alberta (-30 temp):ack:ack:ackP1100737.jpgPC220596.jpgPC220597.jpgPC220595.jpgP2020798.jpg

I have to confess I don't get the whole gal thing. It is a bit odd. PS While you are at it could you ban the word "world" anywhere it appears within 5 words of
"GT " or a thumbs up?

jeesch...... tough crowd ! Gal ?....never heard of it!....... Oh and the Chevy (it's actually a '66 Caprice)....502 crate , 700r4 , detroit 12 bolt, big axles, baer brakes , tubular fr suspension, muscle bar equiped, air ride, etc. The engine on the stand is a 572-620hp deluxe crate hooked to a Tremec. It's waiting for the next project to show up! I'll know it when I see it I guess.

From one Canadian to another I have to say that is one tough crowd , the last guy on the forum that used to use the word "Gal" was Shadowman , unfortunately I havnt see many posts from Bill lately....... Bill where are you man ??

I dont have the 3 cars you posted but i do have 2 of them so I posted a couple of pics , granted not nearly as nice of pics as you posted but it is the thought that counts

Very, very nice.....what is the paint code on the cobra ? I went with '99 viper silver for obvious reasons. Although the paint is the same as the Viper , it turned out to look slightly more 'pewter' due to the undercoat colour. I actually like it better , even if it doesn't match the Viper exactly. In the pic's it looks very similar to the shade on your car.

Oops, not knowing the difference between Impala and Caprice shows what a weak Chevy guy I am.
Both the Caprice and extra engine are "tuff" as my Aussie friends say!

Thanks for the kind words , the cobra color is Superformance titanium , I am not sure what the paint code is but it is a nice color , really shows kind of a bronzey silver when in the sunlight , as you are Canadian you will know that Superformance cobras are rarer than GTs in Canada (only 57 in existence) and I could not be specific about the color I wanted , I actually flew to New Brunswick from BC to buy this car and I wasnt sure about the color until I got there
