Paint "Respray" effect on value?

Would you have rather bought a car full of rock chips only because it still has factory paint? In my opinion, if it's a good respray to correct cosmetic damage from use (i.e. rock chips) it shouldn't diminish value. At that point, it's how it presents and the quality of the respray. There are many custom paint jobs out there that put factory paint to shame. Does it diminish the value if you order a car in a non-Ford color? To some, maybe, to others no. Many of the early cars have resprayed trunk lids from factory bubbling.

Seems like a bra would be good to have. Anyone know where to get one? Comments about using one on the GT? After all, bras are used to protect top quality merchandise and then removed for best of show.
I got mine from: speedlingerie. Most people can’t even tell it’s on the car. Take it off for shows etc. https://www.speedlingerie.com/

Never seen that before. Very interesting.

Speed Lingerie for a real car bra. Have had mine on since they came out and front end is spotless. Check out their website. And they stand by their products. Mirror covers too. Good to at least 160 mph
I’ve the Speed Lingerie setup as well. i put It on if I’m going on a longer trip. Works great, easy on, easy off. Nothing the matter with it at all.

Just ordered the nose and mirror bra. Thanks much for directing me to the vendor.

Any words of caution/advice on install and/use?

Wait for the warmest day you have the patience to wait for. It will be a real workout for the first install.

Make sure you order for the right front grille,, I also ordered the license plate holder. Put good wax Coat on first.

Make sure you order for the right front grille,
The order form did ask for either 2005 or 2006. Mine is an 05 with the mesh grill. I will send an email to them to verify. Thanks. I also added the license plate holder, dont expect to use it. Just in case, then I have it.

There is a bracket you install on the 05's with the grille

Looks good in Black. I'd be a little concerned about potential rubbing of the bra and whatever gets trapped beneath it on the car body.

39k miles , numerous rain storms and 160 mph with no damage to paint. The flannel lining does a great job. There has never been s single complaint here from anyone other than rare fitment when they first came out.

@Voda did you get a car?
