Went to see new neighbors in Sedona and noticed his Shelby T-shirt that looked vintage. Asked what his work career was and he started as a 17 year old working for Shelby in '63. He was on the AC roadster assembly crew. Then shows me vintage photos of Le Man pit crew with him standing in front of car #2. He worked for Shelby through '67 and was in Le Man's each year as part of the pit crew. Also showed me several pics of him and his wife at Hollywood premier of Ford vs. Ferrari movie. Asked how authentic movie was and his response was good Hollywood movie. Majority of his working career was on race teams and I told him he had the work career many of us wished we had.
