Idk quite a few tho from what I hear, but you never see them! The only Gt I have seen at a car show is owned by Howard on the forum. PM him, he is a great guy to talk to and we share the same opinion... that NJ Gt's need to get out more! Anyone know if there will be a NJ meet of some kind? I really want to meet everyone. ~ Rob

Musclecar67: I agree that NJ GT owners should have a get together.
Lets organize something! We could have it in Central NJ to be fair for everyone!
An idea might be to have it in New Hope, P.A. at one of their many beautiful parks which is kinda central to everyone.
Maybe even start a tri state club thing like "Tri State GTs" or something similar.

I am game. Howard and I got together a few weeks ago and had a great time talking about our GT's and ended the day with a short cruise up I 287. NJ GT's should plan something before old man winter begins knocking? PD
I live on the NY side of the Outer Bridge, so I might be considered a NJ cousin?..I would love to get together with a bunch of you guys...You should all consider August 24th @ Tasca Ford in RI, Carrol Shelby and Bob Tasca will be there, and it is a 1 day event. The location is right off I 95 at the exit...you can get the info. @ the SAAC events page. I figured about a 3 hour drive, and at 6am we will beat any traffic. Let me know if there's any interest, I will try to talk GTJOEY in coming.
Looking forward in meeting some of you Jersey Boys.......

according to SAAC (events) Shelby and Bob Tasca will be there....I will call the Shelby camp tomorrow and will confirm....

It's about time, I felt left out living he in CT , when all I hear is everyone in other states are always getting together and going to exotic car shows, etc..
Beside it's my birthday on the 25th....

Count me in. Please provide more details on where to meet up that am - I am in Ridgewood.
Another NJ event should be the monthly Jackson Outlet car show (across from Great Adventure). Next show is Friday, August 31 6-9 pm.

i regularly attend the jackson show that njgt mentioned
it is the last friday of every month and it usually has 300-500 cars.
the women love it, because there is plenty of outlet stores for them to shop at.
last month there were 4 gt's(including mine).
the weekend of aug 10-12 is ford weekend at atco race track(new jersey), vendors, shows, races, etc etc.
i will be there most of the days with different ford vehicles.
if anyone is interested in meeting for jackson the end of this month, let me know and we will start organizing it. if anyone is attending atco any of the 3 days, let me know.
there is also a major car show in cape may this sunday(not sure if i will be going, but i could be persuaded--lol)
