Looking for a Ford Dealer or a dealer or a person that knows 2005 or 2006 Ford GT's that has a good reputation on this forum of having no stories, no problem GT's in their stock for sale that is asking a realistic price for it. Does that exist? Talk to me! I am in the Upstate NY area. I have a 1967 Mustang GT fastback 4 speed K-code that I would consider as partial trade (see pictures), Anything over 260K for your GT makes my GT expensive. Some examples:

if your asking 260 for your FGT then you should be willing to give me 60K for my GT
if your asking 300 for your FGT then you should be willing to give me 100K for my GT
if your asking 325 for your FGT then you should be willing to give me 125K for my GT
Get it?
if your asking 230 for your GT you still have to give me 60K for my GT.

I am asking $70,000 for my car outright. PM me please.

Beautiful car, and good luck with your quest. Might want to realign your passenger side GT emblem on the lower fender.

Sorry to bring bad news, but every GT for sale is $20K more than you will pay.

Or....make it 50K more. lol...I'll find one, I hope. I just bought a 67 GT350 over the weekend. I hope I find a FGT soon! One thing is very true, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

How much out right do you want to spend on a GT... NOT a 220k sub 6000 miles dreamer price either. Like serious i want to buy a car right now price. You know what the market is, so you should know what your going to expect to pay for one. Let's here what your real (I'm gonna write a check dollar amount is)

That should either give this thread traction or make it an irrelevant waste of time.

I know, I am just trying it. I have made contact with a few Mustang buyers, we shall see what happens.

I hope this is a PM, this change is hard to deal with! Anyway, what I have seen is cars stuck in re-listville, go on ebay and see all the same cars over and over, go on carsdotcom and see the same thing, go on hemmings and see the same story there. There was one near me that I could have drove home this spring, (very dirty car, but I can clean) with 7K miles on it, I was ready to buy for 250K and thats what he told me, then somehow it got up to 260 then 265 as I was there! Bad feeling! Of course since I was there, I felt I did not need a PPI. Others I am looking at since I would be buying a car sight unseen, would need a PPI. I feel I can get one for 240 to 260 with under 10K for miles. What do you think?

You keep asking the same question over and over again expecting a different answer. Have you checked the dealers?

With low mileage you are looking north of 275 all the time. A car with stories or a wrecked one might suit your price range.

Seems to be what you are looking for here;

"After 10 years ownership, I have decided to sell my 2006 Ford GT. Car is bone stock and 100% original/unmodified. Red/white. 4 options. No accidents or stories. Has been serviced at knowledgable Ford dealer. 6000 miles. Car is VERY nice. $259,000. I live in western Canada, but also have homes in SW Florida and north Chicago. Car has Oregon title. I would very much appreciate serious enquiries only please. Many thanks. "

If you're willing to take a red one with a salvage title with 6700 miles, you can get it for $200K. Supposedly the salvage title was issued because the owner insisted on it for "minor" front end damage. I can't vouch one way or the other, but PM me and I'll put you in touch.
Also a yellow car with base wheels but with the 3 other options and 51000 miles is asking just under $200K.

I have no personal interest, etc.

Hey I am diabetic, please!

I know how car dealers are, they want retail for what they got and they want to give you nothing for your car. If you sell wholesale then I will take wholesale for my car, if you want retail for their car, then I want more than just a "Low ball price trade in" for my car, it don't work retail and wholesale as a deal. In other words, if your FGT is retailed at 270K and you want to buy a car at retail for 500K, and they only want to give you 150K and they still want 500K for their car, would you take that deal????? I bet not!

If someone want 260 for their car and I want 60 for my car, then I see it as I owe them 200, but if they want 260 and I want 60, and they want me to give them my car and 230? Thats when I say my famous line, "No guy, how much for ONE?"

I just don't want a car that is inflated and be expected to take a bath on my car. Thats all...

The bottom line is I am asking X amount for my car, yes if someone wants to buy it, I can deal, if someone has a car and we can make a deal then OK, but people got to give a little.....AND the people that do not want to give a little are the ones STUCK re-listing and re-upping their ads everywhere. The proof is on eBay, Hemmings, and carsdotcom.

I just want a nice FGT and not get SCAMED.

IMO, forget the trade, sell your car, clear your mind, find the right FGT for you. Good luck...
