I'm taking my GT there :driving: I've gone to 4 or 5 of these in the last couple of years and have never seen another GT out there. :shrug Where are you guys? It's fun times and easy to do even if you don't have any track experience. I usually hit mid 170's, but am hoping to hit 180 this time. I'm up to 810rwhp now running Q16 with the Whipple and the weather is going to be in the 50's, about 40 degrees lower than all my previous events.
Here is the event-

Mid 170's is solid. I've considered going with the GT but after being a spectator a couple months ago, it didn't motivate me as much as I thought it would. After doing a couple runs it seems like it would get old since there isn't much skill to shifting after a rolling start. I have to admit that drive through Maricopa to get there was a blast!

Agreed, it gets boring fast. I only do 3-4 runs then leave. It's basically just a really cool car show, watching and talking to other drivers.
