Nicholas Cage donates his 2005 GT to Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix.

"What this means to you: Go to UTI and you can work on cars. Drop out of school completely, get lucky and become an actor and you can buy new ones when you get bored and give away the old stuff."

Local paper said they will do some performance mods, etc. Thought I'd talk to them - maybe they can find some good mods and share the info (or product).
 
Crazy. IIRC Cage's GT was one of the first 50 built...
 
This confuses me, but that's not hard. :confused :confused A friend of mine here in San Diego bought Cage's GT about a year ago. Maybe Cage had two?

I heard he wanted a lightweight red west coast version.

BTW Cage has been known to collect cars, and to trade them often.

He is a very serious car collector... and obviously getting some great tax advise as well.
