Also in the cheap but fun category, is this Mystery Box that is available at Miniso for just $9.99. Scale is larger than a hot wheel or matchbox, at approximately 1:39 - 1:44. I bought 3, one for me and one for each of my kids.
And as fate would have it, when I opened mine, I got the Red Ford GT, out of the four possible mystery options. Fun. My kids both got other cars.
