Hi Guys.
I have owned my GT for about 4 weeks now and have to say that I am extremely impressed with it. I have had all sorts of boring cars, M3, 911's and the like but nothing compares to this monster. I just got rid of my 2009 Nissan GTR which, to give it credit, was a fast car but it was nothing like the GT.
I am running a smaller pulley with Accufab throttle body along with a Tubi exhaust system. Goes like mad and sounds like thunder.
I live in the UK and Ford GT's were my dream car from being a child - I finally got to own one.
The car is 2005, red with white stripes and had done 1350 miles when I bought it. Its now done 2000 miles and has been instrumental in supporting Opec - but who cares.
Have just for a transmission breather kit so no more oil around gearbox.
Look forward to taking part in discussions.:cheers

Welcome aboard.
You'll surely find it quite different than the GTR - a respectable car in its own right.
Get to know the GT as it doesn't have any of the electronic nannies as the GTR and M3 - ie no traction/stability control and 600hp.
Enjoy.

Thanks for the welcome.
I know about the electronic nannies - Google 600RE crash!!
All black - no stripes. By the way the back wheel had come off...
That hurt and the car was No3 of 10.
Was in the car but my business partner was driving at the time.
These cars demand 100% respect and 100% concentration - all that aside they give 100% pure pleasure.

I am really enjoying the car - the fuel filler cap is getting a fair bit of use!! :beer2:
Fuel in UK is £5.50 per UK gallon so I wish that I was in US where fuel is a lot cheaper, having said that the car is totally adictive.
Everything about it is evocative and I absolutely love it to bits.
I really dont think anything looks like the GT.
Off now to blow the cobwebs off
