Why lower the price? T&A Shocks firmly believes that when we develop a part, as time passes you will discover a way to reduce manufacturing cost. And if we pass the savings on to the customer it will keep the copycats on the sidelines. And we all like a win win deal.
Ford GT 40 supercar - lowering Kit
The new lower price is $385 for a car set.
Advantages over a lowering package that uses shorter springs:
The adjustable lowering kit will allow you to drop the ride height to the height you select.
And will also have the ability to adjustment the corner weights if you wish.
You may also change your mind. And readjust the height at any time.
Custom set the height after you install a light weight exhaust system.
But then if you want a real slam you could use the adjustable kit with a set of short springs?
New lower cost for the Beather vent is $170
We have noticed an increase in breather sales to customers who already have a gearbox cooler installed. We believe this is because the oil cooler and a transaxle breather address two different problems that are not interrelated.
The cooler will only reduce gear oil temps and is required for track use.
A Transaxle Breather vent controls the oil vapor that will ride along with the air that is slowly evacuating from the transaxle as the unit comes up to normal operating temperature.
This is a normal process for all gearboxes and axles on all cars and trucks.
What makes it different for the Ford GT you ask? The mess created by the breather is trapped in the under tray and is on display every time you lift the clamshell to show off the monster.
We have now lowered the price of the transaxle breather system. As we have lowered the manufacturing cost and have made a change to the vent hose. The connecting hose is now a more durable unit that takes up less space, further easing the install process.
