IMO the narrative translates to "this car has a lot of unuseable horsepower except for high speed runs." Hopefully the quoted quarter mile time (11.7 @ 137 ?) is about as poor as the 1000HP car can do.

Why would you take a 1000 HP car to a 1/4 mile track? They need a mile for that beast.
