Well I've only had about 5 hours of seat time so far in the GT but that being said, they are about as opposite as can be. My GTR is not stock, 650 AWHP, so a stock GT feels very slow to me as far as quickness goes. However, the high speed performance of the GT is mind blowing. 160mph in the GTR is scary, not something you sit back and enjoy, meanwhile 160mph in the GT is extremely enjoyable. Don't get me wrong though, the GTR is an incredibly awesome car and I can't ever see myself not having one in my garage. The handling, quickness, comfort, and ease of driving is unlike anything you can buy. However, when you get down to it, the GT is a work of art, and the GTR is not. Every aspect of the GT is special and beautiful, it is the definition of form and function. The GTR is simply not, it is merely a tool. All that being said, I can't think of a better yin and yang scenario to have in your garage than a GT and a GTR!
