New Battery

Well .... my battery was a victim of a hot shot. New battery should be in tomorrow. Took the old one out and to the local ford shop. They did a test and called ford ... new battery ...a freebie.. oh and also the plug charger.

Great new management/owner of this store ... really trying hard to turn it around. I asked about helping find a no options car .... he's looking but doubts that they will trade him but is willing to give me the info so I can buy direct ... I about had a heart attack when he said that.:thumbsup

Anyone else have this problem with the battery and a hot shot?

I bought an 05 back in August and the car had sat on the showroom floor for about seven months. The battery was dead and was replaced before they delivered the car to me. They acutually put in a temp replacement until they got one that said Ford GT on it. No problems in the last 4.5 months.

Mine had sat in the show room for 6 mos and the dealer quick charged it. It lasted two days and ended up going bad. Dealer sent a new one to my house offered to send a tech but I wanted to do it myself.
