Sweet ride, sounds great.

Beautifully done! Love it.

Very nice Gary. I have 2002 red Tbird. Did you attend the 60th anniversary in Dearborn? We were there and it was fun.

Again, bravo!

Here is my '57 Tbird. I have pondered doing the resto-mod thing with it, like you have done. I thought a 427 Cammer engine would be a neat trick!

Would a Cammer even fit?

'63 'Bird, my second favorite Ford! Very nice.

Would a Cammer even fit?

Not easily...but, yep!

Wife , yellow GT and i were there. It was fun. especially the new GT info.

It required major mods to get the Coyote in the 63 Bird. That engine is huge.

I have a Black 2003 T-Bird with 6K miles. Would love a nice 57 to round out my Bird collection.

Hi
We were at the GT rally too with our red GT. But we were also at the Tbird 60th anniversary event at Dearborn a few months earlier. There were about a hundred Tbirds but the photo op in front of the Ford HQ was rained off unfortunately. John Chlor was our speaker from Ford at the Gala dinner. We met Nancy the chief engineer on the retro Tbird project and she signed our car!

I stuck a 390 in one back in 1966 out of a police car. Interesting ride.

Dakota: That would make it a "Thunder" Bird for sure!

@ 2.22 minutes in... check out the tail lights... looks very similar to the new GT shape and design... minus the exhaust holes. Cool ride!

Man that is a sweet ride! Nice choice on the powertrain too!

Agree. Sweet ride. Great job and congrats.

Love retro T-Birds too. Wife has a 2002, and absolutely loves it. She enjoys the GT with me, but Tuesday is her golf day in her T-Bird. Do not get in her way.

Cammer in a '57? You gotta do it!

We had a 67 gold with black vinyl roof. Pop the hood and the air cleaner said 428 Cobra Jet. The car was purchased new. All my old big block experts tell me no way it could have this motor. About 3 months after getting the car I saw the 67 Lemans start on TV.

Very nice! Love that body.

While growing up my dad had a 57 he bought in 58. When the bigger birds came out we were snarky about them--calling them snow plows. But, now the 63 may be my favorite. I have a print of one in my garage.

Yours is awesome.
