Had the opportunity to drive the M12C at Homestead today.....they had a cutaway view on the inner workings of the car. For a 3.8L Turbo and 612BHP, this car can hold its own. I am impressed with the simplicity of the car. The M838T engine is supposedly the lighest high performance engine build on conventional cars.

The chassis is very impressive. My local dealer has one on display. The McLaren is seriously quick for a RWD drive car. I have really never cared for the way it looked until I saw one loaded with carbon pieces. However, it was over $300k.

I like the sway bars.

I had one on order last year but cancelled. Very fast, but a little odd to drive on the limit. Biggest issue was I had an itchy feeling about residuals.....

I would have paid £205k in about March 2011. A car same spec as mine is for sale at a dealer with 3,100 miles (I would have done much more than that) for £145k.

Ouch.

And the satnav blutooth STILL doesn't work I believe.

Or lack thereof. The active suspensions are a neat trick.
