MAN, this is painful to look at!

kool beans, love to get a cassette player and cruise for #1153, also been looking for an 8 track player and a record player for my 45's and 78's:lol :biggrin :lol

those air bags are a nice option as well, looks like when the car fell off the roll off they both deployed.... yup, worked as designed:bs

Snaproll, my insurance is only $950.00/year with State Farm. If enough idiots crash the cars, I'm sure it will go up based on history of claims. I couldn't believe how cheap it is to insure.

I agree with Enzo Btr, these cars are very forgiving. I have had no issues in the learning curve so far. Even under full throttle (straight line) I find the car very controlable. The rear end hooks up extreemly well on dry pavement.

If these people are having trouble keeping the GT on the road they should try driving a 70-80's 911. Talk about getting in trouble in the turns, not very fogiving if the tail moves out.
I drove the GT at a Track Day that Penoz put on at Road Atlanta and the first day it was misting on the track. I was nervous as hell and really wanted to drive my car home. Many times I felt like I was close to the limits and concentrated on staying smooth. As it turned out about five cars got off the pavement and said the cars really accelerated on the wet grass. I felt sorry for this Saleen diver. http://www.pbase.com/frodaddi/poorstanger The good news was that State Farm was going to give him full value for his car because it was not a timed event. You have to love the mark he left on the world.
Sunday the track was dry and I pushed it rather hard and I could not believe what a forgiving , well balaned and easy to drive car. Many times I braked a little to late and trail braked into the turns and the slide was very controlled. The secret is to be smooth. I also noticed a big difference between cold and warmed up tires. Mark Thompson who is one heck of a driver let me ride with him and I actually thought he was on Hoosiers. He let me experience how much faster the car was capable of going. However he took it out later and pushed it very hard without warming up the tires and I believe the car did a donut or two, but because of his experience the car did not suffer a bit.
Needless to say this is a very well balanced and forgiving car.
Flash :cheers
