Compared to 2005/2006 GT, phx is 120mm longer, 25mm lower, 50mm wider and has the same wheelbase.

Wow, that extra 50mm width (almost 2") is going to make a tight fit for a standard 8' wide garage door. The GT was already a tight fit. I wonder if that is body width or mirror to mirror?

Wow! That is one big-ass car. Looks small in the pix. I guess I'll judge for myself when I see it at NYC show next month, going up during the week of April 6

I don't know how to post pictures, but the new GT is on the cover of SAE International's "Automotive Engineering" March issue.

There is a small article about the 3 vehicles making their debut at the Detroit show.

They promise " to provide further reports of the GT's development technology, and race preparation in the months ahead ".

When they do a detailed report on a car, it is usually pretty good. They go into technical details that the wide circulation mags don't touch. I'll keep my eye om it.

The profile image in C&D, pages 62-63, really show the GT40 provenance IMO.

Cumberford's design analysis is spot on. He loves it, but the front end is a bit heavy looking. Really, the only weakness.

If any of you read that April Motortrend you will see the obit for my best buddy KIWI on page 27. They also have a piece about him in the April Mustang Monthly.

He was a huge GT fan and set many records (including in a GT).

Car & Driver, Hot Rod, can be found about anywhere, I get them at Publix, The other you woul need to go to a specailty magazine store / book store.
