Knock-Offs?

Has anybody looked in to knock-off wheels? I know they're probably too heavy for the die hard race fans, but just curious about info from some of you experts out there. They sure look good on the GT since the body style is pretty much the same and they originally came with it. Seems to complete the vintage tough race car look. I suppose you could just put on the "look alike caps", but that seems "cheesy". What do you guys think about this subject?

I don't remember which one, but one of the "other" companies that were making continuation GT-40s did carry the knock offs. I think they have the ones that the pattern bolts to the lugs and then the knock off works.

You see them on occasion on ebay.

I agree that the knock offs would look good. Those are what would really make the hertiage cars "finished".

There are different companies out there that make knock off wheels for Cobras and GT40s, but no 19 inch wheels that I know of.
