Kinetic Speed Shop--racing Ford GT at SEMA

Just saw my pal's shots at SEMA show of a blue race car version of the
new Ford GT with a big front spoiler and a tall rear wing and what looks like plexiglass side windows.

Of course the Lame-Oh didn't bring me a press release
so need to know

Who be Kinetic SpeedShop/Motorsports?

Where are they based? Anybody got a phone number,e=mail address?

What did they do to the engine?

Did they gut the interior?

Did Ford GT group help them in any way, i.e. is this a back door Ford effort?

Where are they planning to race it, and in what class?

Eager to know, thanks GT fans

Kinetic

Kinetic is based in Buford Georgia, next to Road Atlanta. They do a lot of race build outs. I can chase down a phone number if your interested. I will call them and see if I can get the race schedule for the car. This is the only one racing that I have heard of.

Kinetic Ford GT

I got an email back from the folks at Kinetic about their GT. They are the ones that built the Blue GT for Sema. They said they have no plans to race the GT this year based on a lack of sponsorship. They also said they did not have any sponsorship lined up, so it looks the the GT will just be a pretty face at shows etc for now.

Anyone know what ever happened to this car? I looked at it many years ago. Kinetic had it for sale mostly assembled.
