.Once its repaired it wouldn't surprise me if JC decided to sell it.

I'd be surprised.

Watching the videos, he is like many of us and has loved the car since he was a kid. He also realizes how good it is compared to other cars.

My guess (we'll see) is that he lives with the problems - however small they really are - so that he can keep the car.
