Jaguar Classic to build continuation D-Types

It’s very cool that Jaguar does this. Classic Jaguar race cars are so beautiful. Does anyone here have any of the continuation cars?

I doubt any mere mortal will ever lay their hands on one. The XKSS sold before they were built. There was a set on the car in an episode of "The Grand Tour" a few weeks ago (comparing it to Aston Martin that is doing a similar "continuation"). They look "simply mahvelous" but are basically a 60's car and rather uncomfortable and difficult to handle (since there is no power anything). Price for the Jag on the show was mentioned at 1M pounds. And they are not street legal.

There is one (XJ13 replica) near me, the sound is amazing, and the looks, visceral.
