Jag and ditched plan use superchargers

Autoblog's lead story from Newsweek magazine details a plan to put superchargers on all Jaguar models. The idea was ditched, but an interesting read. Thank goodness that didn't happen with the Gt, or all of the crazy engine modding that's going on would not have been so easily accomplished.

Yes the GT wouldnt be the same today with a big N/A power plant. But sometimes I wonder how crazy the car would of been with a large bore small block perhaps in the 400ci range.

I don't know, but it seems that its hard to beat forced induction for easily obtainable big, easy hp gains. And, if like the GT an engine has a very strong stock rotating assembly, the sky's the limit.
