Hidden dangers of buying low mile car?

Unless I missed it, I don't think he replaced the oil pump. He replaced the oil pump belt along with the other two belts.

The problem with buying a garage queen, in addition to the maintenance previously discussed, you will be paying a premium for that low mileage, which may be a write off if you intend to drive it. There are some well treated higher mileage cars out there, and the savings can be put for personalizing accessories, trips to Rallies and other fun stuff. Of course whether you buy low or higher mileage, in all likelihood it will be worth more by quite a bit 10 years down the road. I bought new almost 14 years ago, and if I was to sell today it would be like I was paid close to 100k for driving those 37,000 (s)miles. Who knew.

Rich, just curious, what’s a (very) ballpark price for all those repairs excluding tires, ~$10k?

It’s like everything else, ‘you can pay me now or you can pay me later”.... Thank you....
