Help needed

[ATM empty]

Looking for photos of the "BACK SIDES" (colors, vents, pips, wings ...) of the three Mark II FORD GT's at Le Mans in 1966. Re-doing my garage and I have a blank wall in front of my GT. I going to recreate the finish line as seen from the fourth car (my GT). any help would be appreciated - Jim

1966 Le Mans finish

1st #1046 with Amon/McLaren was black w/ silver stripes
2nd #1015 with Miles/Hulme was lt. blue ww/white stripes
3rd #1016 with Bucknum/Hutcherson was gold no stripe was listed
The first 2 cars were Shelby American cars while the 3rd place finisher was a Holman Moody car. I can't find the picture I'm looking for of that finish to possibly answer your other questions. When I find it if There are more answers apparent I'll PM you.

1966 Le Mans finish

When I posted my previous response I saw the picture from Nilda which is the #2 car which first. The Miles/ Hulme car wore #1 and the Bucknum/ Hutcherson car wore #5. Just for clarification purposes.
