Vic, I think you're dead on: I also think that he spun because the rear end was too light. He seems to have been coasting for a relatively long time, and he had upshifted as well right before the turn. He must have had no load on the rear end. Couple that with a downhill slightly (?) off-camber turn, and he's toast.

Looks like he is fighting the "pendulum" effect of the rear engine. Looks like a hard style to master. Why bother, when there are so many great mid engine cars now. There is a saying about Dr Porsches' design- "A bad idea, engineered to perfection"bony said:
