Hand scribbled numbers on inner fender?

While changing the fuel filler I noticed some some large numbers scribbled on the backside of the fender near the top:

1629

and

Job-4-1629

also

R/H 8/18

My SVT authenticity certificate shows this as year 2005 car build #1621 (not the same as the vin# )

Is this a coincidence that the SVT cert and the scribble are so close in sequence? Or is it all just some random assembly numbers?

Cobrar will have to chime in but I think that is the job number itself - nothing to do with the serial......

Some may be kit numbers. When the body left the body plant the pieces were dry fitted and each had a kit number written on the rear. Since our cars are literally hand made not all parts are easily interchangable. The body plant made adjustments to obtain the best possible fit, number the parts to keep them together and then sent them on for final assembly. If you were are Saleen you would have seen the body kits being kept together for each car as it progressed.
