GTD lapping the Nurburgring

A big fan of the 'Ring. I completed 44 laps on a pre-production BMW K1200S back in the day.

But this. This is is just awesome. Speakers on for full effect. Too bad they had to turn the exhaust pipes downward for this.

Yes, they reserve the track exclusively and try their runs with a professional race/test driver when the weather, wind, temperature, humidity, etc. are the best in order to extract the last fraction of a second advantage. Would be unsafe to mix that with tourist drivers.

This video builds a fairly good case for the GTD's lap time at Nurburging. Hoping he's right!
