Thanks GTNJ!

What is consensus on jacking point contact?

Is a small square piece of wood OK?

Or is hockey puck (jr. or regular), GT saver puck only way?

Go to home depot and buy a 3" Black ABS Pipe union. Its approximately 3" in Diameter and 3" thick.
I can lift my Silverado Diesel with them and being smooth and round minimizes any damage or wood splitting.

Many alternatives. We always used wood too until we came up with these....

Why am I having such difficulty saving that image?

Kayvan, I just had my oil changed on Friday at Scarsdale Ford. Mark is a GT certified mechanic, he knows his stuff. Went on the drive on lift, no lifting points needed. If you go, just do what I did, I sat and waited in the service area, they even invited me back to the service area while the car was up. Nice people, make the appointment with Brian (service advisor), make sure Mark does the work, I gave Mark a $20 tip.

I have a set of these and they are great. I use a hockey puck too............ when lifting at the side rails (GTNJ's pic - blue circles).
