This sounds incredible, and as I am trying to decide what to fit to my GT, I keep coming back to watch this video:thumbsup:rofl

It is a privately owned road going GT taking part in a trackday session....is this what the the FFRP system sounds like?

My opinion is yes it is the FFRP muffler paired with their FFRP long tube headers..... because that's what I have. :thumbsup

No question it DOES sound incredible...at least for a few laps (while wearing a helmet w/ear plugs), or whatever. But, I don't think a guy would want to drive any great distance on the freeway with that setup...especially if WIFEY were in the co-pilot's seat. :lol

But, SINGLE guys..........................! :banana:banana:banana

I would say it is the FFRP without the muffler setup. They sound wonderful and are not loud at all in the cabin. From the outside... that's another story. Old fogies...

I have the FRPP rear exit system. Cruizing in 6th gear on the freeway it's music to one's ears and in no way objectionable. At WOT, it sounds like the hammers of hell and not for the meek.

So the Ford full Race system is no longer available, and I have serched the web on the offchance that there is a used system for sale somewhere, but no luck.
I need to make up my mind quickly, as the GT is off to Mountune in the UK, where Dave Jones is going to service, and do a pulley and tune, along with Accufab Throttle body....he will fit any exhaust system i wish for a reasonable fee when the GT is in his workshop.
I am now thinking of the Stainless Works Full exhaust, I am guessing this will sound similair to the FFRP???

And "outside" is where all the LEO's are! :rofl

Old fogies...

'Young WHIPPER SNAPPERS...:lol

I've had numerous coppers follow me around and never been pulled over. I've even got on it with a couple motorcycle cops standing on the side of the road and all they did was drool as I went by. Maybe you need a shower pockets :)

Maybe you need a shower pockets :)

Eeeeeeeeeeh, shuddup!

Just to be serious for a nanosecond, anyone running a FFRP system around here in my area would be chopped liver. Seriously. You'd also be nailed for no front plate - especially if a CERTAIN LEO up here were to see/hear you. IOW, there are LEO's...and then there are LEOs.

(A friend of mine actually got a "noise" ticket up here for running his Rochester F.I. equipped SBC w/o its air cleaner in place!) (For those who may not know, that causes a very audible "whistle".)

(A friend of mine)

May you contract a permanent, unbearable itch in an unreachable place.

I have the Ford racing headers and it sure sounds the same to me. "A Freight Train on Steroids"

Agree, sounds exactly like my borla FFRP. Flames are really cool too :-) hopefully mine won't do the same show when the metropolitan police is on my tail

So who has the Stainless Works system then, and how does it compare the the FFRP?

Yes, I am the happy driver of the Stainless Works system--straight with only small cats. Impossible to fire the gal without a big grin, and the sound while driving is beyond description. I have loved it from day one. It looks as great as it sounds; it saves a ton of weight; and the Shadowman has it. How much more creditably could a man ask for? Sound is as good or better than FFRP IMO.

These two get you pretty close to the GTX. Can always use a X-pipe instead of the muffler.

Thanks for that, just one question though, is the Ford component thermal coated? The Stainless Works can be thermal coated for about $400, and D. Jones in Moutune, who is going to fit whatever I buy when doing the tune and pulley recommends the thermal coating as it will be close to several parts that will suffer from heat degradation.

i have the full FFRP GTX, does not come thermal coated and was overheating the clutch under heavy use for me (the small muffler are very close to it). I decided with D Jones to put an extra thermal coating / protection around the clutch, without touching the exhaust itself. very happy with the arrangement ever since. I understand the GTX is no longer available but my guess is that same reasoning would apply for the stainless steel.

sound is really amazing i must admit, all the sheep of wales have been very impressed. ;)

Enrico, it is not available from Ford, but I have just found out it is still available direct from Borla, however, the Stainless Works is a lot less expensive even with the thermal coating, and it has small cats, which should see me through the emissions.
