Russ Landis joined the Car Guys Who Lunch in Sarasota, FL today. He's a GT Forum guy and the sixth GT owner to join our group. He stole the show today with his Shelby-built modified orange GT which he drove here from the Rally in New Orleans. He broke bread today with 45 enthusiasts.

Nice! Did he get his A/C fixed?
 
Never thought to ask him, didn't know it was broke.
 
He power-washed the engine bay in NOLA on the day of the bayou cruise and the A/C went kaput. Was disassembling the car in front of the Hyatt. lol. He thought it might be a blown fuse.
 
Yes, his A/C is working great. We really enjoyed building that car. Always a show favorite. Russ is a great guy. Glad he joined your group

It was a quick lunch and only had a chance to meet a few of what looks like a great group of guys. There was allot of great cars ! As Shelby has stated the AC started working again fine after the engine compartment dried out from the car wash ! It was a great GT ralley, the track was outstanding and the people are all very interesting and allot of fun ! I can't wait for the next one. Does anybody have an idea of where it will be yet ?

It was great having you and the GT at lunch. Look forward to spending some time with you. If you're around on Sunday Nov.4, there's a really neat Charity car show in town on Hillview St. We will have a special display area for our guys and I plan on bring my GT, may be some others. You can email me if you need more info.
