great dealer and an amazing driver, enjoyed watching him pilot lightweight jags around Goodwood. This car has an interesting history, saw it at Goodwood as well.

I've always wondered what our GTs would look like in Yellow/Single White stripe. An awesome combination, especially with the roundels.

awesome car....wonder what price that'll command. As far as I know it doesn't have any race history from the 60's.....only modern vintage races. Would imagine that still wouldn't stop it from being north of 2 or 3 million.

According to "GT40" by Ronnie Spain, GT40 P/1077 was dispatched on April 13, 1968 and sold originally to the Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd, Japan, and prepared to full 1968 works race specifications. It was sold off by 1969 and was due to be raced, but the entry was withdrawn. It was bought a few years later by another japanese gentleman who had it completely restored in a light gray with a broad red center stripe. The original colors were yellow with white stripe edged in black.
