As some may know, I have been vintage racing my 65 Mustang for quite some time - but for a number of reasons always in only Denmark and Sweden. Its an original ex-Dave Tallaksen & Gene Felton race car that has been a part of the amateur series in the US back in 65-67 and in the US finals American Road Race of Champions in both 66 at Riverside and 67 at Daytona. The car even recieved Shelby Team support. Very cool history
For several years we have persued the dream to become part of one of the premier "by invitation only" races in the UK and this year we have been selected for the 2014 Goodwood Revival. I just got the confirmation today and I´m more excited than you can imagine. I can´t imagine a more cool race to participate in than this year´s "Smallblock V8 Touring car" 45 min 2-driver race. It has not been decided which PRO/Celebrity I will team up with but I have a couple of ideas I am persuing .... :wink
Planning starts now, lots of things to prepare and test, extra parts to make ready, hunt for possible sponsors etc. I have a whole gang of friends who have supported this project since the start and they are highly excited to finally get the chance to act as pit crew at a race like this ...... oh man I can´t wait for September 12-14th

(Hotels seem to sell out pretty fast - we have booked Holiday Inn Guildford - 4 star, pool, looks really nice, 38kms from Goodwood if anyone wants to join the party :biggrin )
