Jim is super people, drives his breadvan Ford GT on the street, as well as his Lola t70. Used to be active on the forums, then a bunch of folks started suggesting that his P3/4 which he documented the resto on was a fake.
You must be right - he has to be a great guy. He has put over 20,000 miles on his Mark IV GT40 since he got it. He has street plates on the thing!!
A local collector tried driving his own Mark 1 (#1024) on the street here a few times and the cops would tell him to get it off the road.
BTW JG's GT40 was on the cover of Vintage Motorsport in 2003.

I used to chat with him over on GT40s.com from time to time... seems as though he has stopped posting over there lately. Nice guy... I'd love to see some more of his garage art he has stashed over there.
