So....summer is here and none of my shorts fit anymore. Veronica is looking at me with a jaundiced eye and asks if I'm gonna do something about that. Yep, I'll get right on it. So I go out and buy several pairs of new bigger shorts and she's still not satisfied. She wants me to lose weight but that was impossible for my dad so it probably will be for me too. My dad told me that "It's tough to diet when you're rich". :cheers So I figure I'll start jogging. I use to be a runner in high school, 30 years ago. Two miles a day for two weeks now. I am in pain 24 hours a day. My knees feel like an ice pick has been jammed into them. My back, tendons, and shins are all throbbing. 14 days of agony AND today I got back on the scale. Veronica walks in and asks how much weight I've lost. Not a single pound BUT, "I have become a slightly faster fat guy". :bored

Same prob..... "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down".... We have to follow Bony's plan - Starvation! :thumbsup

Chip,

This is what I did and lost over 20 pounds in ~3 weeks...

Breakfast: 3 eggs (I like mine scrambled). Feel free to throw in cheese and use hot sauce etc for flavor. I also made mine with polksa kielbasa daily.

Lunch: 1 or 2 (was 2 for me) pieces of chicken breast. Cook it on the BBQ or Foreman grill. Only use mustard and spices for flavor. Don't use anything else...like uncle Bo Jangles secret recipe BBQ sauce :lol

Dinner: 1 more piece of chicken and boiled fresh veggies (broccoli or green beans etc). No corn it has too much sugar. Focus on getting your sugar from fresh fruits.

Drinks: Water, iced tea (feel free to use a packet of splenda in your glass), or anything else without sugar in it.

You can mix it up with the following...

On even days, for lunch do a low carb bread sandwich. Just meat and cheese. Feel free to make 2 if you need the energy.

On odd days, prepare a serving of wheat based pasta with a low sugar sauce and the fresh veggies.

No exercise needed :rofl

Bony - I feel your pain - I'm on a weight loss plan as well. Like Chip's dad said, "It's tough to diet when you're rich"! We'll make it somehow!:cheers
