when the 2017 first came out I entered to get an allocation with no luck. I have a pretty good "Ford Footprint" and also promote their cars through my business RaceDeck. Currently I have a 05' FGT, Gt350R, 2 Classic Broncos, 93 Escort RS Cosworth FIA Rally Car, Ken Blocks MK2, Tremor 250 and just finished a major 63.5 Falcon build with the GT350R motor aka Voodoo Falcon... so what does a guy have to do to get an allocation 🧐🙂

The selection process was top secret and a total mystery. There were lots of other guys as loyal as you who were passed over too. Production is almost over and they’re all spoken for now. You just need to buy yourself a beautiful Superformance GT40 as a consolation prize.😄

Hey there neighbor, just wanted to introduce myself! I have a house in Park City and saw your GT at Silver Lake lodge a few years back. Both my 05 Midnight Blue stripe delete and 2020 Frozen White/ Alloy stripe GTs have been up there around town at one point or another. Maybe one day we can meet up.31B372DB-00ED-4E81-BF49-818548229725.jpeg4C28565D-2C62-4ECA-8FD1-50CA24781893.jpeg

You didn't take the floor with you?! If I move, the floor is coming with me.

Jorgen, I am really pleased with your product. Sorry to hear you are having a tough time getting your hands on one of these beauts.

... so what does a guy have to do to get an allocation 🧐🙂

It's easy to get your allocation, just bid on one at Barret-Jackson, Mecum, Bring-a-Trailer, private sale, etc. Easy as that to get your allocation. You don't like the color, repaint it. If you can afford the new GT, you can afford to have it painted any color you desire.

That Silver 2005 with the black wheels is by far the best looking GT out there! I also hear that the silver is also the fastest. Well its the fastest one I have ever driven anyway. hehe

Hi Jorgen,
I am a huge Ford guy too! As a matter of fact, I have had 2 GTs - an '05 and an '06. And I did not get an allocation either! So I went the hard way - to bring a trailer and got my allocation there... I love your floors! See attached and I love my new GT!

.......so what does a guy have to do to get an allocation 🧐🙂

The end of NFGT production is just a few months away and the last allocations were assigned to buyers years ago. There were a lot more than 1300 loyal Ford guys that deserved an allocation and despite Ford's best efforts to send new GT's to owners who would drive and display them many couldn't resist the financial windfall of not driving and selling after two years. On the plus side in 2.5 years the entire 1300 new GT fleet will be saleable and about 600 can be transferred to a new owner now. I know it's a drag to have to pay over MSRP but the premium is a lot lower than what you'd pay for a Carrera GT, F40, F50, or a 918. So perhaps the new GT is still a bargan. Mine is 4.5 years old now with over 7000 miles on the odometer and 15,000 miles in my trailer going to and from events. The car is pure magic and like the 2006 GT it's become a family member. I absolutely love it and you will too.

Well said, Chip. I was one of many that had to pay the premium by purchasing used, and still dumbfounded the original owner put only 212 miles on the car over two years. I have had it for 3 months now and it has over 1100 miles. Made to be driven.
