front removable cross member

Does any one have any pics of the front ally removable crossmember, still on the car and just behind where the two chassis members meet at the fuel tank opening or tunnel. ( I have a gap tapering out towards the tunnel) is this common on all cars. p

I just had all my bottom panels off changing fluids and in my car the aluminum brace is symetrical all the way across...does not taper in like yours.....a common mistake I understand is for mechanics to lift at the edge of the aluminum brace which may bend it.

No, It should be as Art138 stated. Now how did the floor panel fit?
