Ford has trademarked "ECOBEAST".

The article jumps to the conclusion that it is a power play. But could it be the code word for what will be in the GT class car?

All I can say about marketing since Farley came to Ford, is that when it comes to new product, he seems to relish media speculation running rampant. On the plus side, you get lots of mileage with little or no investment. The down side, is on any given day, (if you a Ford employee/stakeholder/supplier) you can expect to have your phone ring and be expected to confirm or deny the latest. All said, Fox is on their own with that story.
