Ford is bringing back the Cobra Jet Mustang for 2013. The company is offering two versions, one supercharged and one naturally aspirated. Both are based on the 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine in the Mustang GT.

Only 50 copies of the 2013 Cobra Jet will be built with an approximate price of $86,000 for the naturally aspirated version and $93,000 for the supercharged car. More options and full specs will be announced in January.

We're approaching used high mileage GT territory.

..... $86,000 for the naturally aspirated version and $93,000 for the supercharged car.
:eek

These are dedicated class drag cars that run 8's as is. ChadW's car only went to the track once and with no setup on a hot day it immediately went 9.41. Price is not a surprise.

well that settles it for me then. i will be looking to buy a used 2011 or 2012 with the 10 point cage a 5.4L motor with the optional 4.0L whipple and 2 speed auto trans. gonna be slim pickens for me....

i am several years away before i have the cash to pick one up used, but the price on what i am looking for by then should be ~ $75,000
