Well done, and very instructive. By the way, we met briefly in London at the Cobra event while you were waitng in line for the "cone racing." I mentioned I had been considering a GT and you said you had one on order. Looks like we both came through. I love the car, and am still in love with my SPF Cobra as well. Again, an excellent article.

Great article. Much more real and down to earth than anything I've read in the big car mags. I love my GT but your piece makes we think about a Z06 for a daily driver. :thumbsup

Hi Roger -

I remember meeting you, how cool. Are you taking the GT or Cobra to London this next year? I'll be bringing the GT for sure to Mid-Ohio.

Bill, thank you for the excellent analysis. I also own both cars. The 2007 Z has optional On Star which provides theft tracking and hands free phone use. The Z06 is a very impressive car. It's a race car with the amenities of a luxury car, and the more time you spend in it, the more you realize what an incredible car it is; however, when you hop back in the GT, you realize how special the GT really is, because the GT fills your soul, and puts a bigger smile on your face.
