Ford GT Market in Canada

Hey fellow Ford GT guys, long time no see. I've been out of the loop for a long time! Just a quick question for any Canadians on the board who have an understanding of the current Ford GT market. My car has seen limited road time in the last 2 years, and I'm considering selling it. I absolutely love the car (more than any other car I have owned), but I am finding that my lifestyle and schedule makes it more and more difficult to enjoy the cars. And I am not really a collector, so I hate to see the car sit and only get driven a few times a year.

Anybody here have any idea what the market is like? Pricing? My car is black with silver stripes, pulley & tune, Ford Racing exhaust, super clean, super well maintained, about 6500 miles. I don't know for certain if I will sell it (that would be a hard decision), but thought I would reach out for some advice on the market and pricing.

Thanks all.

As an aside: A fellow here in my home town just bought a "perfect" white/blue with 2,500 miles for $147K.

(Edit: And that included 4 new tires [due to AGE], installing Accufab 'bolts, and a complete fluid change service [done by Shadowman].)

I am also in Canada and I have a white with blue stripe GT and I only drive it a few times a year , however that is what I expected from the car , not a daily driver by any means.

You have to look at these cars as an art form not from a practical aspect as there is nothing practical about a GT

I dont want to sell mine now , that may change in the futuire , I have 2000 miles on her and it has 30K in upgrades , I personally would look to get a good dollar for it , I might just have to wait for the right buyer and or the economy depending on the selling timeline

I personaly wouldnt let yours go for any less than you paid , remenber there are only 277 true Canadian GTs if yours is in fact a Canadian car , you also have a desirable color combination

Good luck

Hey gtforme, I understand that the cars are only meant to be driven infrequently, I have owned a number of exotics under the same premise. I guess my lifestyle has been changing somewhat, and spending less time at home in the summer, which makes it even more impractical for me. One thing for sure, is the GT is really the only "keeper" car I have ever bought, so it would be a tough decision to sell. All the other cars I have had are "typical exotics" that are made year after year, unlike the GT. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
