Interesting. I knew Chris Theodore played an important role in the development of our '05-06 GT's, but if this article is accurate (and who am I to doubt it?), he was more vital than I realized. Big thanks to Chris Theodore!!

My interest in MOPAR starts and ends with the 1970 Cuda' so it was a struggle to get thru the Viper story, but it does get better once you get past that.

Having a halo car is now accepted dogma for leading brands.

From VW / Audi R8 all the way to FORD GT.

Companies who embraced its value-add have evolutionary models (NGT) and recapture brand DNA; the
Companies that used it as a marketing gimmick, devolved and lost that value (Viper).

True visionaries create value; rest just squander / discontinue, be it Vipers or Volts.

Bravo to Chris Theodore; esp for changing co’s to get it done.
