The time of year has come again where I am cursing my auto storage situation ... and this has me thinking (for the first time) of selling my '06 Ford GT.
This is an all-option Canadian car (located in Calgary, Alberta): BBS wheels, painted calipers, racing stripes. No Macintosh was offered in Canada.
She has 6,733 miles and is in exceptional shape - no issues, no stories. VIN: 1FAFP90S96Y400733
I installed a few upgrades to the interior (aluminum seat cones, upgraded key fob, fire extinguisher bracket) and I added the stylized billet aluminum GT40 fluid tank covers in the engine bay. These mods were obviously more for bling than performance and they can all easily be "un-done" to return the car to stock.
I also upgraded the stock half-shaft bolts to the aircraft-grade hardware purchased from Ford GT parts. I had the bolts safety-wired, of course.
Oh yeah, I also had XPEL protection installed upon purchase - a $2,500 touch. Amazing product! I subsequently added the product to my daily driver (Audi A7) and it not only protects the car brilliantly, it doesn't fade or peel like 3M.
The car was always detailed after each drive and stored in heated and dust-controlled conditions each winter. It comes with an upgraded silk car cover which fits nicely into the stock GT car cover bag.
She does need new rubber, although the car can ship with the stock tires. We can discuss what works best for you. I was leaning towards installing the Bridgestone Potenza's (265/40R18 front; 345/35R19 rear).
