Floor Mats Revisited

I got my mats today. These are the new Lloyds with the embroidered Ford GT and VIN.

First impressions are that the embroidered stuff is nicely done. They do this on the lighter weight mats. The lighter are OK, but I must say I do prefer the heavier - if someone is ordering without the logo stuff, go heavier.

I am having a little after thought about the light color for the logo (yellow for the yellow car) - not for looks but just in terms of staying clean. It will probably be OK, but consider that when ordering.

Nice fit - right over the rubber originals (also protects exposed areas to some degree).

I think the VIN number could be a little smaller so it is secondary to the logo, but I can definitely live with it as is. I think it looks good in the car.

Your thoughts?

Looks awesome! I ordered mine many moons ago, and they did not have the font at the time. I may order a second set just for the GT font.:thumbsup

I just received my black Lloyd mats ... also the lighter weight as I ordered mine with the white Ford script in the blue oval. I think they L@@K great, while being understated as the oval is about 5 1/2" in length so not overpowering or too "busy".

Obvioiusly, this is a personal taste issue and I'm sure the GT logo with or without serial number will be preferred by many. I can say this ... the Lloyd mats are a big improvement over Ford's "better idea" and will preserve the Ford rubber mats for the purists.

I bought mine from Roadworks Auto <roadworksauto.com> and was very pleased with the price and service. They even caught my order in mid-stream to allow for the addition of the logo as Ford only very recently licensed Lloyd to use their trademarks. usmcfred
