First Ride in a Ford GT!

Hey Guys,

I attended a charity cars show yesterday in Toronto, all the money raised went to the Make a Wish Foundation. It was great to see how many owners showed up to support a great cause.

I met up with a fellow member here who came in his tuned Black w Silver stripes GT. He was generous enough to take me for a ride at the end of the day, all I can say is WOW! I have ridden in several exotics including a Ferrari F40 and I have never felt anything like that before. The raw power of the car is just phenomenal, you feel like your taking off in a fighter jet. When we accelerated through a tunnel the exhaust note was insane, my ears are still recovering :lol . Many thanks again to the owner who gave me the ride of a lifetime, I really appreciate you taking the time to provide me with that kind of thrill!

Great pictures, Love Make A Wish, how can you say no to a kid is whose days are numbered? Did you make a donation in exchange for a hot ride?
 
Yep, got to enjoy a ride and help the kids at the same time :)
 
Thanks, sorry for being Mr.?man, but I am thinking of doing something like that for Boys & Girls Club. How much for a ride, how long, how hot a ride did they give you? Appreciate your reply. :thumbsup
 
They charged $35 for a ride. I think it was around 10-15 min. My ride was pretty "hot" :biggrin .
 
Hey Lucas, I owe you a "hotter" ride next time! Perhaps on the day we do the photoshoot! Nice to spend some time with you on Sunday.
 
Nice shots! Pic 357 with the GT in front of the Gallardo (page 3) is superb - really unusal framing... lovely.

The young blonde boy looking at the engine is the carbon copy of my 5 year old Harry...
