Thought this would be a great thread to start. Been watching a lot of auctions and following countless private and dealer sales and find there is a massive gap between asking prices and the verified sales I have been able to confirm. Just watched this 4 option 12k mile 06 go at Mecum for $235k ($242k) with buyers premium. I would have been all over that one but I am set on a Black GT. Anyway... feel free to post verified sales here.

Possibly lack of sleep or just no interest in transparent recent GT sales ?

The problem with these threads is you do not know the history of the car.

The last thread like this had a car that was hit and had a lower selling price.

Still hanging onto my optioned black 6K car, My new one isn't due till Christmas. Just detailed and covered her till spring. Thinking 1/2 the cost of the 2019 (620k) is probably the neighborhood. But it can change every day. I really like my 06 more everyday I own it. Still rocks a crowd just going to church on Sunday

These two coming up on Saturday and the liquid blue has been around the horn and back! Stay tuned!

Completely understood but I have seen very similar prices for similar GTs that have been inspected so I don't think it's too far off. This absolutely isn't a "beat down the price" thread and if anyone has damaged or negative history on any of the vehicles mentioned all the better. I missed out on a black, single owner, 3 option car ( had top stripe delete) with 7k miles just as I was starting to get serious again. Car had a full inspection done by Ford and carfax. I was delaying because it was out of state and sold a few weeks ago for $265k. I'm sure similar cars can go in the $300s too. That's what this thread is for. :)

Not knowing if it's a "no problem, no stories" car or not, the sale price of $235K doesn't include the 10% commission Mecum charges for cars with a reserve which brings us to a final price of $258K. Not out of line for a 12,000 mile car.

My fav spec :)

I would not mind if values dropped. Then I might be able to buy a second FGT.

Site now shows "sold" at $1.3M but in watching the auction it seemed it failed to hit the reserve. Auctioneer actually said "This auction will be extended" and just moved to the next car. If anyone else has details feel free to add.

Wonder how many original owners of 2005/2006 models are left.
