EVO video comparison test

Thought I would share this in the NFGT section. According to EVO, all 4 cars were tested on the Cup 2 tires to make it a fair comparison.

Was going to post about the article. Lap times surprising--the Merc was faster. Surprised the testers, too.

Do we think it's a function of the track chosen? Regardless, I don't think the NFGT will lose that many fans!

I read that the GTR uses the same super-sticky Cup2s as the Corvette Z06 (I just looked it up and they are in fact the same size). I'm not sure what the "R" Cup 2 is on the GT2RS but it seems like Ford's Cup2 is run of the mill.

I didn't think a 285 front tire would fit on a Ford GT?

(Not all Cup2s are made the same)
