Erratic oil pressure reading at freeway speeds

That sounds like a wonderful idea.

No doubt Texas has a group of GREAT FGT owners... I agree we must have an event in Texas!

OK - Texas here we come! After Sebring?

Worse part for me to go to Texas from Raleigh is the route.......I keep thinking about that Top Gun episode! I have to tranverse the same route!

I just may take you up on that. I will try to bring an appropriate piece of machinery to trade rides in...:thumbsup

It's a serious offer- please do take me up on it!:thumbsup

And trading rides, though not required, would undoubtedly be fun, too!:cheers

Installed new sending unit today-No more erratic readings!

The local Ford House took excellent care of me and my baby!! Readings are steady and consistent now.

Steve, the tech that installed my new sender,( and a customer at my motorcycle/ATV dealership) said he'd like to ride in a GT sometime, so we went out to give him a ride and verify that the fluctuations were, in fact, eliminated.

As luck would have it, we soon found a deserted closed course with perfect controlled conditions,:wink and a professional race driver :lol behind the wheel, so I was able to redline it in first and second and see 120 in third. Steve was impressed(as was I) that 120 didn't redline it in third, and that we had three gears left!!:eek:banana

I had no idea how much fun it could be to get a little warranty work done!!:thumbsup

Even got free coffee and a sweet roll!!

Life is good!!:cheers

Test Ride

Eddie - good for you.

I always take the Gt Tech for a post-service check out ride. :cool
And once in a while I might even be the driver.

Gotta share the GT with the folks that work on them.

:thumbsup

So thats what the underside of our cars look like:eek

Eddie you got to get a pulley and tune for your car.

You will not beleive the difference a extra 100 RWHP & 100 RWTQ makes.

Here is a link to mine and the dyno sheet.
I spent the extra for the Kenny Bell snout but its not needed only a smalley pulley and a few minutes to upload the tune.:banana

Some good guys are located in Texas that do it as well.

Absolutely. Sharing with other car guys is half the fun. My Ford parts guy has been around the block behind the wheel. Of course I was shotgun, but he still wears a permanent smile from that little drive.

Thanks, Jay!! It was a fun day!

I had never seen the bottom before- couldn't even get my eyes full in the time it was aloft. Beautiful machinery!!

I love the oil pan and dry-sump pump!
