Hello All:
During a recent servicing I asked the person doing the work to adjust the driver’s side headlight beam as it was aimed too low. When trying to adjust this headlight the person working on my car noticed that the illuminated round “ball” in my headlight was drooping and pointing down thus making it un-correctable via the regular factory adjustment setting. I have since learned, from someone that worked at the factory, that Ford had quality problems with this same issue in headlights that were produced for early 2005 built cars. I’m going to get this fixed under warrantee by getting the entire headlight replaced however anyone with an early 2005 built car and a headlight with a permanent “low beam” should take a look at their headlights. It is very visible when looking at both lights from the front of the car. If you have this problem you’ll notice one of the “balls” looks like it’s become detached and is drooping.
