Do you think this is too low?

I am playing around and trying to figure out how low I want my car to go.
I love the way it looks, but just wanted to get some opinions.

Since we got the same tire and wheel set up, I can show you what mine looks like this week. It should be lowered by friday.

The suggestion was 7/8 in in the front and 5/8 in in the rear. Much lower then that and you might have some ground clearence problems.

They are 255/30/20 front and 335/25/22 in the back.

Remove the rear bumper, paint the rear end of the clamshell that beautiful blue and complete the transformation.

I had mine lowered 1" in the rear and 1 1/4 in the front. Nothing rubs... looks great. This was the suggested amount by Canepa Designs who performed the lowering.

Dont forget with the 22's they stick out over 1in more then the stock wheels. So they might rub at 1 in. Unless you camber them in enough not to.

I originally edited the pictures to just to look cool, but I think I may end up being the most aggressive when it comes to lowering the GT. I am used to lowered cars. All of my cars are lowered and I think it is a matter of paying attention to the road. While I highly doubt I will go as low as my pics, I will definately go low. :biggrin
I just think the GT is one of the most versatile cars out. You can put retro Knock off wheels to recreate the 60's look and it will look awesome. You can put modern wheels on it and compete with F cars and L cars in modern day sexiness. I love it! :banana

When you go low, you have to deal with not damaging the defusers and skirts.
Saturday we loaded Awsum's GT and mine which is still stock in a non lift gate trailer. It was a challenge, that being said I am lowering mine tomorrow, maybe not as low as Awsum's, come to the rally and see both side by side. :wink
